Principal's Report
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
Annual Satisfaction Surveys
This year we are using a different tool for our Annual Satisfaction Surveys; it is called, Tell Them From Me. The Tell Them From Me Parent Survey is a comprehensive survey that is based on a framework for fostering positive relations between the school and the community and captures parents’ perceptions of children’s experiences at home and school. Parents can access the survey using the link below, to provide us with valuable feedback that informs our Annual and Strategic Plans. Students from Year 4 to Year 6 will complete a Student Satisfaction Survey at school.
The survey will be open until 11 June, Friday Week 8.

Sorry Day/Reconciliation Week
Tomorrow is National Sorry Day and the start of Reconciliation Week, and we will be holding a prayer service in the PAC at 9am to mark this important day.
Dutton Street Footpath
I’m very pleased to let the community know that the new shared walkway along Dutton Street in front of the school is now complete. I’m very grateful to Nick and his team for doing everything possible to minimise disruption and maintain access to the school. They also helped us to move some new sandstone blocks into position for natural seating in the playground and provided a focus of interest to Kindergarten who were thrilled to watch a concrete truck in action!

Vinnies CEO Sleepout
This year I am again participating the the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. On Thursday 17 June I will be joining a number of Catholic School Principals and business leaders to sleep rough at the National Arboretum in Canberra and raise much needed money for those in our community who can't afford the basics - food, education, utilities and even a place to call home. My personal goal is to raise $2000 for Vinnies; if you are able to donate to this important cause, go to https://www.ceosleepout.org.au/fundraisers/michaelgreen/canberra.
