Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
Lost Property
Winter is always a peak time for lost property and this year is proving to be no exception. Any item of lost property that is clearly named is always promptly returned to its owner in the Office Bag, so I ask all families to assist by ensuring that all items of school uniform, along with lunch boxes and drink bottles, are clearly labelled.
It is not uncommon for students, especially young ones, to inadvertently put another child’s jumper in their bag, so I also ask for your assistance by regularly checking tags and returning any other student's belongings promptly.
Yass Valley SPIN Foundation Pyjama Day
This Friday 30 July is the Yass Valley SPIN Foundation Pyjama Day. Mt Carmel School is a proud supporter of the Spin Foundation, who do wonderful work supporting people in need in our local community. So, on Friday, all students are invited to bring a gold coin donation and come to school in their comfiest pyjamas.
This Friday 30 July is also a milestone for our youngest students… one hundred days of big school! KJG and KNB will mark the day with a fun exploration of the number 100.
