Principal's Report
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
We do not usually publish a newsletter in the last week of Term 4, but as we were unable to hold Presentation Evening this year I would like to publicly acknowledge the achievements of our students who have been formally recognised for their efforts and accomplishments. A full list of all award recipients, and a photo gallery, follows below.
Yesterday we said goodbye our graduating Year 6 students with a Mass, a K-5 Guard of Honour and a farewell party in the evening. Remember, wherever you go, that you each form a special chapter in the story of our school and you will always be a part of the Mt Carmel Family. Best of luck with the new adventures to come in High School.
I am pleased to announce the classes and teachers for 2022; families will receive notification of their child(ren)’s class allocation via email this afternoon.

And finally, I would like to finish with a few words of thanks. In the face of the many challenges we have encountered as a school community, the many successes of the 2021 school year stand proudly as a tribute to the professionalism, dedication and love that our incredible staff bring to their work each day, and to the enthusiasm, resilience and love that the wonderful children of Mt Carmel School bring to our classrooms and playground every day.
Thank you to every fabulous family for their support this year; I am very grateful to you all. Thank you to the teaching and support staff for their tireless effort, commitment and vocation.
Thank you to the sensational students; I hope that you are all proud of your efforts and achievements this year. Now it’s time for a rest; take good care over the Christmas break.
May you all, and your families, have a happy and holy Christmas in this year of Our Lord, 2021, and may the peace of the Infant Child be with you every day.
May God’s peace be in your families,
