Religious Education in the Classroom
Welcome to Week 2! In Term 3, Year 2's unit of work focused on stewardship of creation. During my visit to 2LS, I asked students what they thought was important about being stewards of our world.
Some interesting insights from students:
Elizabeth: To put rubbish into the bin.
Ashton: Pick up the rubbish from our school yard.
Olivia: We need to look after the animals.
Jonathan: Tell people to look after the world.
Zoe: Protect all the animals and not litter the sea.
Harvey: It is our job to look after the animals and help them find a place to live in.

Religious Life of Mt Carmel School
Catholic Mission Month
October is Mission Month and mission means connecting with other people, helping those in need, sharing the Gospel message through our actions. In this month, we go out of our way to help others, to be kind and thoughtful. Schools are invited to engage with mission in an holistic way within the head, heart, hands model: encouraging a learning mind, an open heart and hands for action.

MARIAN PROCESSION - Sunday 22 October 2023
Prayer
As God’s people we pray for the needs of the Church and the world. We pray for change: in ourselves and in the circumstances of those in need, particularly in Ethiopia. May we pour out our lives in service. Unite us in faith, hope and love as we pray together.
Send your Holy Spirit to inspire and sustain us in our mission.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
