Ekaterina Mulcair in Year 6 has started a fundraiser to help newborn babies by raising funds for the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation (www.newborn.org.au), which funds medical equipment and research for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Canberra Hospital. With the lack of maternity services in Yass, this fundraising effort is something that is of direct support to many in our community.

Classmates and parents are being invited to join in the fundraising effort by helping to sell raffle tickets. If you or your child would like to be involved, please contact the school office to pick up a Raffle Pack. Anyone who participates will receive a certificate from the charity to recognise their community service effort, and there will also be prizes for sellers. The Raffle Pack will include a booklet containing 20 raffle tickets and instructions. The raffle draw date is 8 March 2024, and the packs are to be returned by 26 February 2024.
